A long video without chapters loses viewers to blind scrubbing. The chapter editor drops markers against the video in the browser, previews the segmented progress bar live, and exports WebVTT/JSON chapters — one ZWPlayer option turns them into bar segments, a chapter panel, and jump navigation. Four design principles included.
Series, courses, music queues — past a few items, hand-writing JSON stops scaling. The playlist editor offers bulk import, drag-and-drop ordering, and grouping; every entry can carry subtitles, chapters, thumbnails, and multi-bitrate sources, exporting standard ZWMAP playlist JSON that ZWPlayer wires in one line. Pair with ZWScan to turn a whole media library into a playlist.
YouTube/Bilibili-style hover previews on the progress bar are one sprite sheet plus a time-mapping JSON. The online generator parses video locally, samples frames at your interval, stitches the sheet, and exports ZWMAP thumbnail JSON — hand it to ZWPlayer and hover previews work. How it works, the knobs, and integration.
SubEdit Online is a browser-native subtitle editor: local video loading with instant open, waveform-based timing, AI speech recognition that generates timed subtitles in one pass, multilingual AI translation, and SRT/VTT/JSON import/export. Videos are parsed in the browser only — never uploaded. Basic editing needs no backend.
ZWPlayer has a hundred-plus options; writing initialization from scratch invites mistakes. The code generator puts a form on the left — source, subtitles, watermarks, VR, playlist, hotkeys — and generates complete HTML integration code live on the right. Copy and ship. Usage plus the sample-to-production workflow.
The full pipeline for putting 360° video on the web: consumer panorama camera choices, equirectangular export parameters (2:1 aspect, resolution, bitrate), HLS chunking for giant files, deployment with CORS, and ZWPlayer embedding with initial-view tuning. Includes a pre-launch checklist.
